Together we make beauty
Music Ministry
Irvington Presbyterian Church welcomes any and all singers to participate in our choirs. No matter your age, how you pray, who you love, how you vote, or how well or not you read music - if you love to sing, you are welcome to join us!
Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir leads the musical portions of the worship liturgy each week. The choir is a mix of professional and volunteer singers, and is led by our Music Director, Jon Riss (contact Jon).
Children’s Choir
Led by our baritone section leader, Pablo Provencio, IPC’s Children’s Choir rehearses and performs seasonally: once in the fall and once in the spring; performances usually coinciding with Christmas and Easter (contact Pablo).
Messiah Concert
A highlight of the community for many years, Irvington Presbyterian performs the Hallelujah portion of Handel’s Messiah each December.
Open Mic Night
Each fall, an open mic night gives the chance for performers of all levels the chance to share their musical gifts with beauty and creativity.
Rivertowns Playhouse
In 2024, The Rivertowns Playhouse (formerly Irvington Shakespeare Company) became the resident theater of Irvington Presbyterian Church. Together, we are committed to making the theatrical arts open and accessible to people of all ages and from all walks of life. Check out the full listing of performances and workshops on their website.
